Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, all!
Finally had some time to write out a proper update, so I figured I'd go ahead and do just that. So, in the midst of a seemingly endless stream of commissions, personal drama and just generally trying to get my life back together, I've been tinkering away with Lament whenever I find myself with the time. More specifically, I'm working out the world's map(s) and the overall progression of things... Currently, I'm working with the idea that every major boss or significant enemy encounter will grant the player the ability to choose between two different skills to add to their arsenal - but choose wisely, because whatever you pick will be what you're stuck with for that entire playthrough! Of course, I want to take full advantage of what a system like this will allow for, so keep an eye out for future updates and teasers. In the meantime, I plan to jump back into my usual brand of art and other creative goodies at as full of a force as I can manage, complete with a lot more intractability like polls and other community-focused events to carry this site into the new year! This site's officially up and running again, ladies and gents.
